Downtown Charleston & Folly Beach Engagement Session

Kate and Will are a laid-back, fun couple who love to adventure together! They met while attending Clemson University and are truly the perfect match for each other. They have traveled around the world from Europe to Asia and back, and now call South Carolina their home. I was thrilled to travel down to Charleston to capture their engagement photos!

On the day of their session, we had the most perfect weather! They really enjoy the slowness of the south, so it was fun to leisurely walk around together. We highlighted some of the most beautiful spots in the city, including some gorgeous oak trees covered in Spanish moss. The buildings are so uniquely colorful and I love that we got to capture the character and charm in their photos. They enjoy quality time together and we wanted to reflect that in their session.

Of course, their pup Bali had to join in on the fun! She joined us right in the beginning to make sure we got some great shots of the whole family before bringing her back home. Pups are always welcome for your engagement photos!

Folly Beach Engagement Session in Charleston, SC

After strolling through their neighborhood we headed to the popular Folly Beach for some casual coastal photos. They both changed into jeans and a t-shirt and we headed out towards the ocean. We found a quiet spot on the beach where they played together and laughed.! 

I loved witnessing their love and friendship while learning about their home! It was so much fun to visit them and hang out before their wedding in July at the White Cliffs Country Club!
